usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- tuesday morning - monday night so, yvonne mentioned in her entry earlier today that she watched van helsing the other night. hugh jackman, yum. anyway, so i have van helsing, got it for christmas. actually, my dad got it for christmas and gave it to me because he already has it. he said i could keep it or take it back and exchange it for some "girl-type" movie. yes, my dad actually said that. anyway. so, i was going to exchange it but i hadn't done it yet and then of course i've felt like shit for the past few days and have been trying to leave the house as little as possible so today i gave in and opened it, popped it in the 'puter and then proceeded to laugh my ass off for two hours. everyone i know told me that this movie sucked but i so don't see what they were complaining about. it was hilarious. of course, the movie was not billed as a comedy, which it obviously is from the opening scene. i mean, come on, it's black and white, it's frankenstein, his monster, igor, dracula, and the butler from rocky horror picture show. it's so a comedy. i can see that perhaps the diehard vampire fans felt misled when they discovered that they movie they thought to be chock full of action, which it was, was also chock full of laughs. fucking hilarious. i'm so glad i didn't exchange it. anyway, so, i was going to say some other stuff but i totally forgot what it was in the process of getting all nyquil'ed up. so, yeah, i think i'm going to go to bed with my junebug and my book and my ice pack. i am absolutely burning up so i've taken to sleeping with an ice pack on my neck to help cool me down. fabulous broads quote of the day for tuesday, january 4, 2005:
