usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- again with the updating mama and daddy ended up coming home early from their little day trip because daddy got sick. since he has developed diabetes he has not been feeling as well as normal. though i guess that is to be expected. they came home and he was in bed within five minutes of walking in the door. my uncle has still not shown up with the couch. i had to run over to grandma's for a minute to measure a couple of tupperware containers for a potential bidder and no one was there and the couch was still sitting in the living room as usual. that really pisses me off because i had a lot i wanted to get done today that did not involve sitting in the house all day. granted i got a lot done at home today, there are things that i had planned to do today that i cannot do tomorrow because it's sunday. but then, it's not like i'm really surprised that they are being inconsiderate. i mean, what's new? they knew that i would be sitting here waiting for them and they haven't even called. i could have called them except that i don't have their number. and don't really want it either. i can so do without talking to them. anyway, since mama and daddy are home i am going to get ready to head over to grandma's in a bit and get some more items ready to post on ebay tomorrow and do some more cleaning and throwing away of stuff. watch, my luck, as soon as i get there they will show up and be all up my ass about what i'm doing and such. oh well, it has to be done and putting it off because i dread dealing with them isn't really going to solve anything. i just hope they show up and bring the damn couch over. we've been waiting on it for close to three weeks or so. if daddy were healthy it wouldn't be an issue because he and i could go get it. but he's not healthy and he isn't supposed to lift anything over ten or fifteen pounds so that really isn't an option. and there is no way my four nine mother can lift the damn thing. so, we wait. i'm out. toodles 4:30 pm - 12 Feb 2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
