usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- green friday eve the day after thanksgiving is traditionally called "black friday". i'm guessing because the money stores make on that day puts them in the black. *shrugs* i'm not really sure. target calls it "green friday" instead so i'm more familiar with that term. with target being "green" means you are 100% target brand, following the rules and policies and meeting company and guest expectations. we're supposed to be green all day every day but even more so on green friday. seeing as we had an unexpected "green wednesday" this week, i'm truly scared to see what tomorrow brings. at least it's payday. five in the morning is going to come awfully early, and three-thirty, when my alarm is set to wake me up, is going to come even earlier. so i'm not staying up all hours of the night tonight. at least, i'm going to try not to. i'm planning to be in bed no later than ten but i think i may actually go in a bit with my book. reading usually relaxes me enough that i can get to sleep without too much trouble. to all of you going shopping in the morning, have a good day and may you find plenty of sales and such. and, um, stay out of my store. i'm kidding. sorta. i hope you all had a good day. 7:14 pm - 25 Nov 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
