usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- be thankful when i got up this morning it was sunny but the sky farther away was rather ominous and black. as i was taking a shower, my mom was on the phone, standing at our side door, looking out and watching those black clouds move towards us. all of a sudden it started pouring rain. the rain fell heavy for just a few minutes and then tapered off to a light drizzle. as mama stood there a rainbow formed in our yard. it started right next to our driveway and arced across our front yard. she said it was the most amazing then she'd ever seen. two seperate neighbors called to tell us that there was a rainbow in our yard. she stood and watched it until it faded away with another heavier downpour. i think it has to mean good things when a rainbow forms in your yard. it made my mama smile for the first time today, so i guess it was a good thing. happy thanksgiving day everyone. 10:26 am - 25 Nov 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
