usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TGIFF - thank god it's friggin friday so, tonight is the infamous tasteful treasures party and seriously close to half the people i work with are going. it's cool that we all like each other enough to hang out together outside of work. even some of the guys are coming which is probably going to be hilarious. most of them will be outside offering sacrifices to the beer gods on the grill, but one or two have asked if they can stay inside for the party. one dude asked if he could sit by me and i was like yeah i guess so, why. and he said he wanted to sit next to me in case the lady pulled something out of her bag that scared him. so i guess i'm supposed to protect him from the big bad scary dildo. weirdo. anyway, so marinda is riding with me because they live down in the country near where jeff and i used to live and it's like an hour drive. she wasn't going to go because she didn't want to drive all the way down there so i'm going to pick her up and then drop her off at home later. everybody at work was all excited to get out of there today mostly because it was such a long friggin day. but most of us don't have lives outside of work so we're all excited not to be sitting home tonight watching what not to wear. so, i'm off. i want to write for an hour before i leave so i won't feel like i wasted a day of nano. i'm sure i'll be back later tonight to tell you all about it. toodles 3:39 pm - 05 Nov 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
