usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- phlegm makes you sound sexy so i got the car back yesterday afternoon. drove it for a while. went browsing (as opposed to shopping) and just cruised around for a bit, happy to be back behind the wheel of my own vehicle for the first time in two weeks. later on last night i went and filled it up with gas and gave it a bath and wax. you know, just pampering it a bit to let it know how much i missed it. so this morning i grab my keys and head out to the car to go to work. and the damn thing wouldn't start. i damn near cried! it turned out that the stupid battery was dead. mama drove me to work and daddy picked me up. but the car is working again now, for the most part. *crosses fingers* but i do need to buy a new battery and a new connector cable. you'd think with the five friggin thousand dollars i spent on it yesterday it would be happy for a little while. but no. ah well. it's home, it's running and i'm happy. i'm off to pick up a pizza for dinner. i'll be back later for a "real" update. toodles 7:24 pm - 17 Sep 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
