usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my drakie deedee ~ sorry if i was obnoxious on the phone earlier today. like you told jeff, i'm feeling slightly stressed and basically it's gotten to where i can't even stand myself half the time. it's a miracle he tolerates me at all. lol anyway, just wanted to apologize if i was a jerk. love ya. =) next topic... drakie got hurt at school today. the nurse's office called me at work so i called jeff and had him come downstairs and take the call. they said he fell out of a chair and hurt his arm and he was freaking out and wouldn't let anyone touch him. so jeff called jennie and she went and got him. while she was going to pick him up, jeff called the doctor's office to tell them what happened and to let them know that they were on the way over there. as it turns out they had to go from the doctor's office to the hospital for x-rays. his shoulder is broken and he's in a sling right now. tomorrow he goes to get his cast. poor little thing. he's only 2 and this is the second time his shoulder has been broken. (the first time was during birth) anyway, so now the rilly RILLY bad news. the doctor at the e.r. told jennie there is no way he broke his shoulder falling out of a chair. they told her someone had twisted his arm and broke his shoulder. now, he just started school monday and jennie noticed bruises on his shoulder like monday or tuesday evening when she was giving him a bath. they were like fingerprint bruises. but she didn't rilly think anything of it, she figured it had happened while he and sierra were playing/fighting. so today there are more, on the same shoulder that is broken. someone at the school broke our baby's shoulder. i may have to bail jeff out of jail tomorrow. he plans to be at the school when it opens to "discuss" the situation with the principal and drake's teachers. he and jennie have already talked about getting a lawyer. the doctor in the e.r. called child pretection services (they have to anytime something like this happens) and cps wants to interview jennie and the people at the school. they have to rule out that it didn't happen at home. now, i'm not jennie's biggest fan in the world. as a matter of fact she is rilly rilly low on my list of favorite people right now but she would never hurt drake. i will say that much for her. she loves those kids. she may not be totally equipped to handle being a mother but she would never do something like this. jeff watched the kids for her last night while she was at work so she wants jeff to talk to cps too so he can tell them that they were fine when he bathed them and put them to bed and everything. he also saw the bruises on drake's shoulder when he gave him a bath. all in all it's a rilly bad thing. i tried to explain to jeff that going down to the school and getting his ass in trouble wouldn't solve anything and it certainly wouldn't help drake but i'm not sure i got through. i understand that he is completely enraged, so am i, but he needs to be rational and mature about it or the whole thing could backfire. especially if this ever has to go to court. right now all i'm worried about is drake. jeff and jennie can worry about the school for me. 12:37 am - 30 Nov 2001 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
