usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- crash and burn well the first day of contact wear went well. lot of w's in that sentence. we were uber busy at work today. i guess this is the end of summer pick-up, even though technically it's only the middle of the summer. but in retail land it's the end of summer. we set back to school in two days. school has only been out for like three weeks and we are setting back to school already. shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, and bathing suits are all on clearance. we are already stocking jackets and sweaters and stuff for the fall. it's kind of hard to shop for a sweater when it's 90 degrees outside and humid enough to swim through the air. anyway, so i don't have much to say other than ranting about retail i guess. i watched what not to wear tonight and it was great as usual. i so love that show. of course i kind of feel bad for the people because stacey and clinton kind of insult them and so do nick and carmandie. but then i remind myself they in exchange for a few insults they are getting $5000 worth of free clothes and shoes and a free haircut and makeover so they can just suck it up and deal with it. yeah so, that's it for my rant about that. i'm slightly out of it and a tad hyper. you know when you are so tired that you get totally wired and you don't think you'll ever wind down and then all of a sudden you just crash and burn? well, right now i'm waiting for my crash. hope it gets here soon. night. 12:09 am - 10 Jul 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
