usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- rainy friday so suz just left for her trip up to maryland with her sca buds and jeff is working till 9 so i have the house all to myself for a bit. well, me and the zoo anyway. six of my mice died today because of the rain. sad but the monitors needed to eat anyway. that sounds so heartless but such is life i guess. i combined what was left of the two colonies into one tank with new clean and dry bedding and they all seem to be doing well at the moment. joey and amy met us out at the house today to look around. they seemed to like it. amy seemed as excited as me as we went around looking at all the "potential" the place has. mr allen, the crochety dude who owns the place, stopped by while we were there to make sure the power was on and he told jeff that he plans to have his guy out there early monday to fix the well. if all goes as planned, which it never does, (i don't know why i continue to plan things *sigh*) jeff and i could be in there as early as next weekend. at least that's what i'm shooting for. of course, jerry still has a ton of junk in there he needs to get out. we shall see. anyway, so since i'm all alone for a bit i thought i'd sign onto aim and see if anyone was on since i haven't talked to anyone in ages. but, alas, everyone must have a life. oh well. so, um, yeah, i guess that's it for now. i think i'll go watch a movie or something. toodles 7:14 pm - 11 Oct 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
