(Power & Phone) okay, so the squirrels in this neighborhood hate me. rilly. jeff and i have been using suzanne's back deck to go out and smoke. there are a lot of acorn trees in suzanne's yard. hell, there are a lot of acorn trees in this whole neighborhood. anyway, so everytime i go outside i am hit in some way by a falling friggin acorn. or two. or three. i swear that the friggin squirrels are throwing them at me or something. monday i was sitting out there after i finished cleaning sugar's cage out and i was hit in the face by an acorn falling from a tree in the front yard! i was in the backyard! yesterday morning jeff and i were outside talking and smoking and i was pelted in the back of the shoulder. jeff laughed so hard i thought he would cry. the acorn totally fell at an angle instead of straight down. that's when he asked me what i had done to piss all the squirrels off. i haven't been out there yet this morning. damn acorns. i told suzanne last night i need like an umbrella or a helmet or something. so the power and the phone get turned on at the house today! i need to run out there and hook up the phone i bought last night so that i can test and make sure that the phone is working this afternoon. jerry can let me know if there is a problem with the power as he is supposed to be out there again this eveing. now i can finally get some real work done down there. my major concern right now is figuring out how to drain the damn water bed that's in the master bedroom. taking it apart won't rilly be too much of an issue but draining it is rilly going to be a bitch. it took over 48 hours to drain our water bed. i just went to throw my drink can in the trash and my tawny mouse is dead. he was so purty. he was this rilly light tan color. he was a hopper which is kind of like a teenager in meese life. i just had him out last night and held him in the kitchen. oh well. i am not supposed to be attached to the food. it sucks though cause like 4 of my hoppers have died in the past three days. very strange. must go. toodles. 9:16 am - 10 Oct 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
