usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- iguana food so jeff and i had a nice little five minute yell at each other this morning about money. it took us that long for both of us to realize we were yelling at each other about someone else's money. can anyone guess who that someone else would be? if you said jennie, the money grubbing alcholic slut from hell, you'd be right. next time i bake cookies, you'll get one. anyway, so it was probably one of the dumbest yells we've ever had but it ended quickly and all is well. i stopped at the grocery store on my way home from dropping jeff off at work and picked up all of spike's favorite foods. yes, spike is the iguana. he's not eating and i'm worried that he's gonna starve himself to death. he was already way too thin before when i was feeding him every day. (i wasn't feeding him enough, i was a bad owner) but for the past two or three days he is refusing to eat at all. he is skin and bones. so i got some sweet potatoes, he loves those and i'm going to try to chop them up as fine as i can and make a paste, he loves it that way. he used to empty his bowl in like two minutes when he was a baby. i got him some broccoli too, he likes that cut up and some spinach which is apparently his favorite green. although, the food he's been ignoring all week has spinach in it so maybe he's gone off it for some reason. perhaps if i mix it with the broccoli well he'll take it. plus, if i can get the yams all pasted up then i can double his vitamin intake. then at least he'd be getting those. *sigh* we shall see. 10:38 am - 31 Oct 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
