usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- tuesday toodles part too i hadn't planned on making another entry tonight. i had planned to get off of work by ten and come home and go to bed. but, i didn't get off until almost eleven and now i'm home wide a-figgin-wake so i decided to make an entry and say hello. *says hello* so it was a long night at work. pretty good though. tomorrow is inventory and then i'm off on thursday. i'm already two and a half hours over for the week and there is no way i'm going to be able to cut it by saturday so it looks like i'm going to be getting some time and a half on my next check. :) that's always nice. my boss is going to freak out when i tell him, but, unless he plans to work for me so i can leave early, there isn't much i can do about it. i love getting overtime. *grins* lol so i finally finished the lovely bones tonight. it was such a great book. i loved it. you should all read it asap. lol i've got to get the other read and turned back into the library. they're due on sunday. of course i have to work this weekend so i probably won't get them read so i'll have to check them out for another two weeks so i can get them finished. i've been playing the sims again the past few days. i got makin' magic, i might have said that the other day but i don't remember. :P so today i left my family to take care of themselves while i went to work and when i got home the mom and the daughter were dead and the dad was sleeping on the floor in the kitchen. apparently he got so exhausted that he passed out. idiot. anyway, so the sims 2 comes out next month and it looks like it's going to be uber nifty. i went to thesims2.com today. it's going to be good. i'm excited. of course i won't buy it right away, my brother hinted that he might get it for me for christmas but we'll see. he wants to set me up with an ancharcy online account. he has two and he wants to get me a character on his second account. he says he thinks i'll like it. i dunno, i really don't know much about it and i haven't taken the time to look it up. i know jeff used to play it years ago and his brother plays it all the time. but if will wants me to give it a try i probably will. well, i think i am going to try to get some sleep now. i absolutely cannot be late for work anytime between now and february 20 of next year so i have to be able to get up and get moving in the morning. i'm still not sure i'm going to be able to sleep but as it's close to one in the morning i guess i need to try. i can always curl up with my junebug and my book and i'll be out like a light eventually. toodles. 12:29 am - 25 Aug 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
