usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- laid off again hm, i just realized that the clock on the computer is 12 hours off. *shrugs* oh well, i'll fix it later. well, all of you guys already know that i was laid off this past week. so i join the glorious ranks of the unemployed with my good buddy dee-dee. lol i'm thinking it takes real talent to be laid off by the same company twice within one month. lol it really hit me heard yesterday afternoon that i don't have a job and i got very upset. it didn't last too long though, i'm kind of over it now. everything is (eventually) going to be okay. i've never had a problem getting a job. i have only ever interviewed for one job that i wasn't offered. my resume looks good (note to self * i need to change the font *) and now i can add 2 new software packages to my qualifications section after working for h-m. i found out last night that there are 2 furniture companies hiring around here though not for techinical support. one is hiring for customer service in their corporate office, which is only like 10 mins from my house, and the other, which is like 30 to 40 mins away, is hiring for a visual person. i could so do visual. i love that kind of thing and i guess techinically i have experience at it from when i was a planogram supervisor. i would love to do the visual thing if they paid well. *shrugs* guess i'll have to find out. mama also told me that comcast cable is hiring for technical customer support. i know they pay pretty well and you get your cable free with a discount on all pay-per-views (yay!) and a discount on the cable modem. that would be cool. oh well, i had said i was going to get up all early and be productive so i'm going to sign off now. well, i guess you could say i have been productive, i've done 2 loads of laundry and updated my diary. i guess that's productive enough for my first hour of the day. lol till next time, love y'all ~ me 9:30 am - 16 Apr 2001 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
