usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- shopping stuff not a lot going on around here but i thought i'd make an entry anyway. just working as much as possible. trying to stay out of the house as much as possible and make some money. and of course, the more i work, the more money i make and the less amount of time i have to go shopping and spend money on stupid crap i don't need. so suz's wedding is in one week. i'm so excited for her. i am really looking forward to going. i'm so happy for her. i can't even really explain. i know how she felt for so long and now she's so happy and she so deserves it and even though i've never met him he must be wonderful since he has recongnized how terrific my evil twin is and has decided that he can't live without her. yay for him. i must say i love him even though i've never met him. so yeah, i bought a new dress and very pretty new white sandals to wear. if i must say so myself i should look rather nice. and i'm going to paint my toenails a very pretty lilac color to match my dress which is a pretty aqua color (actually it's tourquoise but i don't think i can spell it) with purple flowers on it. and, it's a slip dress. do you know how long it's been since i wore a slip dress? well, you probably don't but let's just say that when you wear a size 24 a slip dress isn't the most attractive outfit for a girl. but, a size 18 is another story. of course, if it were a 16 it's be even better but i'm happy with it as it is. so anyway, i also bought a very nice pair of brown leather loafers to wear to my interview for my promotion. and the best part about them is that they were on clearance for $10! and i got a very good pair of slacks and a nice red shirt to wear to the interview as well. of course i have to wear red and khaki which is good i guess because now i won't be stuck with an outfit that i don't have anywhere to wear after the interview is over. so all of that stuff my mom put on her charge card since i didn't have the money to buy it all flat out. but i did have the money to buy a great new pair of white leather sketcher tennis shoes to wear to work. and all of my shoes are a half size smaller than what i've previous been wearing. can you believe i lost weight in my feet? too funny. so anyway, that's about it for now. toodles. 8:01 pm - 06 May 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
