usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- it feels like monday, not tuesday no overloaded servers today. yay. today has been the longest day in the world. i worked 11 hours at tarshay today. good times. inventory is tomorrow so i was doing some prep work for that, plus i had a huge order come in that had to be checked in, unloaded, and put away. and i cleaned and dated product and so on and so forth. all in all it was a good day. just a long one. so my new boss started yesterday and i am so excited about working with him. he has so much energy and is really up about being at our store and being a part of my department. my previous boss wasn't really all there most days and when she was, she was so not about my department. which was okay because she stayed out of my way most of the time and i could do what i wanted without someone looking over my shoulder all the time. jermaine is not an over-the-shoulder type person. he's more the hands on type. if i need his help he's there and i feel like i count on him to be honest and true to his word, again, unlike previous boss. so anyway, only time will tell as with everything but i think it's going to work out great and it is definitely going to help morale in the store which in the end, increases sales. after all, this is retail, sales is always the bottom line. anyway, so not much to say other than that. just hanging in there doing the same ol' same ol' routine. i need to go fold some laundry and put it away but that's so boring and i am really tired and seeing as i just got home about 30 minutes ago i think i'll rest a bit first and go play mah jong. i'm addicted to that game. toodles. 7:29 pm - 29 Jun 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
