usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- oh, it's just heart burn... daddy had a heart attack tuesday afternoon. he had to have an emergency surgery and he's still in the hospital for a while. his doctors have been telling him for 6 months now that his chest pains were acid reflux. now they say that he's been having "little" heart attacks the whole time. tuesday's was severe. on my way to see him in a bit. he's doing alright in general though. he's probably going to have to go on dialysis though. the cancer was already causing some minor kidney damage and now, the dye that they used for the angioplasty the other day can cause kidney failure so they are keeping a close eye on him for that. gotta go. toodles. oh, and dee-dee, it's sapphire. sorry, you know that's a pet peeve of mine. lol 10:39 am - 20 Feb 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
