usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- happy friday day i need to go get in the shower and get ready for work but i am looking for anything to do other than that. i really do not like me job. in case you didn't know. today is jeff's first pay day so he is cashing his check when he gets off and then heading to the pet store to buy food for our poor herps. the geckos have hardly eaten in a couple of weeks now. they are getting too old for their baby food and will only eat a little bit. they really need crix. everyone else has eaten pretty much. we had several frozen mice stored up in the freezer. we do need to buy some greens for spike though. he's about out. and the best part about payday, we get to pay at least part of our rent! woohoo! of course, jeff is way behind on his child support to jennie and audrey so has to give both of them some money but we also plan to send a bit to the phone, cable, and electric companies. we can't send much though but we'll send enough so that they don't turn stuff off. we've already lost most of our cable channels. but hey, we figure as long as we still get the animal planet, tnn and upn, we're good to go. lol so, still no unemployment money. i've filed for 4 weeks worth now. can't get it though apparently until the investigator makes his decision. but i'll keep filing and hopefully he'll decide in my favor and i'll get a nice fat check to pay off all the rent at once so we don't get evicted. anyway, this is a fun cheery entry is it not? lol it's cold in here. for some reason when it is 119 degrees outside, our ac sucks and it stays a good 88 degrees in the apartment. or worse. but when it is cooler outside, it gets freezing in here. brian and lisa don't have any problem with their ac next door. it's just us apparently. anyway, i'm going now. jeff is supposed to be bringing me lunch before i go to work. he had to work late today because it rained last night and apparently a lot of his carriers didn't put their papers in bags resulting in wet newspapers and unhappy customers. so he is making customer deliveries now, giving them all dry papers. oh well, if he's not home soon, there's always leftover monicotti in the fridge. see ya. 11:56 am - 26 Jul 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
