usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ferret poo just got home from taking jeff to work. yeterday all of the reptiles except for spike had their cages cleaned, so, today it's spike's turn as well as the mammals. if you ever want to have a good time, clean a ferret's cage. good times. so then i'm headed down to the house for a couple of hours of work before i have to pick jeff up this afternoon. won't have time to get too much done but a little is better than nothing at this point. had free dinner at taco bell last night. have heartburn today but, at least this time, i didn't buy my heartburn, it was given to me. *shrugs* jeff's sister-in-law is a manager so she gave us a free meal. nice of her. then we freaked her out buy telling her we had a snake in the car and then showing said snake to her. sara is not a big fan of the snakes. go figure. so, um, yeah. so the sniper hasn't shot anyone yet today. good times. now, i have been getting gas and going shopping or whatever the whole time this has been going on and not had any real insecurity issues. so last night after i leave my parent's house i stop at the gas station in enon right by I-295 and all of a sudden i get this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. as unlikely as it is that i would be shot in the parking lot of uppy's, i was scared. it was awful. i tell myself it's an irational fear but it wouldn't be the first time i'd had an irational fear. last year after 9/11 jeff and i had just moved into our new place in mechanicsville to work for u-haul and i was overcome by fear everytime i had to leave the property by myself. can't explain it. don't really want to, it makes me sound psycho. must go, the ferret poo is calling my name. toodles. 10:30 am - 23 Oct 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
