usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- here comes peter cottontail for any of you peoples out there who have me on your buddy list and such, i have a new one. jeff and i got a new aol setup done and we are now [email protected]. i hardly ever sign on aim with usmcsis76 anymore but now whenever i'm on i'll be under the new one. so, if you'd like, make a note of it. lol the interview went well. the pay is going to suck. but then, it's more than i make sitting at home on my ass all day. i just need enough money to pay my car payment right now. and gas to get to work. and cigarettes. the manager is supposed to call me thursday and let me know but she sounded like she was definitely going to call me. cross your fingers. even if it does suck, bills gotta get paid ya know? i rescued a baby bunny this afternoon from one of the dogs. buffy wasn't trying to hurt it though, she was just carrying it around in her mouth. she likes babies and she wanted to mother it i think. she even had it by the scruff of the neck. she didn't break the skin or anything. but even though she was being gentle most of the bunnies i've seen die in the mouthes of dogs have died of heartattacks anyway so i got buffy to drop her and took her in the house. i got her all wrapped up in a nice fluffy towel and put her in my cat carrier. jeff fed her when he got home. we probably won't keep her. lord knows we have enough animals right now. we'll probably take her out and release her back into the woods in a day or two. but we have to make sure she is able to eat on her own and stuff since she has been brought so far away from where she was originally at. buffy picked her somewhere in the woods towards the end of the driveway and that's over a quarter of a mile away. we would have no way of knowing where to put her so her mama could find her or anything. anyway, if she won't eat on her own we'll have to dropper feed her until she can before we let her go. she's a cutie but buffy definitely almost scared her to death. well, i'm out of here. gonna go find jeff and see what he's up to. toodles. 10:11 pm - 22 Apr 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
