usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i'm the boss well i found out yesterday that i got the promotion. yay me. i am officially now the new storage manager for u-haul marketing company 824. i rock. lol so i start on the 1st. until then i'm still in my store and i'm training all the new relief managers that the president finally hired. she wants me to work on some paperwork and do some marketing calls and such during the next week as well. i am rilly looking forward to this job. i think i'm going to be rilly good at it. i'm a little nervous too. it requires some travel into parts of the state that i've never been to before and i am so bad with directions and stuff. it also requires some staying out of town for about a week or so every month which i think will actually be good for me and jeff. so the pres is going to hold off hiring a couple to take over my store until jeff and i find a place to live and move. which is very cool because i'm not rilly in the mood to be homeless any time soon. and seeing as how the bitch we were dealing with rented the house we were looking at to someone else out from under us we're having to start all over from the begining in the house hunt deal. anyway, so "the boys" are all over tonight playing video games. normally on saturday night we'd be at luke's playing d&d but a couple of players couldn't make it tonight so bj, luke, and thomas came over here to play some new fighting game on ps2. deedee is supposed to be stopping by as well. tara wanted to do something for me as a congratulations gift for getting the job yesterday. so jeff and i rode out to mom's last night and tara showed up with her box'o'beauty. she gave me a pedicure and a facial and she wanted to give me a manicure but we ran out of time. it was almost 1 in the morning when we left and it's an hour drive home. then jeff and i both had to get up early this morning to work at 7. i was in heaven though. my god, it was great. she still wants to do my manicure so i might head out there tomorrow if i have time after running my errands before i have to pick jeff up from work. well the pizza is here and i can hear the boys pigging out so i'm off to claim a piece of two for myself before they inhale it all. toodles ~ me 8:46 pm - 23 Mar 2002 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
