usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i'm almost at 100 feedback! so we sold grandma's house. well, there's a contract on it anyway. closing is still a few weeks off. now all the stuff that remains from the estate sales needs to get out of there. my aunt says that she is going to take care of it. actually, she said that she was going to take care of it on this past wednesday. however, she has yet to touch a damn thing. daddy has forbidden mama and me from going over there and doing it ourselves. he can't do it. and so that leaves my aunt. mama and i can't stand it and will probably end up sneaking over there and taking care of it ourselves so that the buyer doesn't back out of the contract when he finds out that the house comes with fifty years of shit packed into it. *sigh* anyway, so i'm bored. surprise surprise. i could finish cleaning my room and do laundry. or i could read my new book. or i could go watch the race with the 'rents. however, i don't want to do any of those things. i slept most of the day thanks to a pretty bad headache. i decided that i need to cut back on the amount of meds that i take so i have stopped taking any over the counter stuff like advil or whatever. so i slept with a cold washcloth on my forehead for a good four and half hours. the pain is mostly gone now, due in part to the fact that the rain has moved out. the barametric pressure has always wreaked havoc on my head. i have discovered a place down the street from my house that does tanning and i'm thinking about going. i should spend the money on paying bills but i want to treat myself some. i think i deserve it. and it will make me happy. they don't close until ten so i could ride over there now and kill twenty minutes. but i need to find out how much they charge and stuff. maybe i'll go check it out. i'm bidding on a 50's style pink princess phone on ebay to replace my piece of junk phone that died yesterday. it rings and i can answer it, however, i can't dial. weird. so, yeah, i guess that's it. i'm out for now. toodles 8:26 pm - 23 Apr 2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
