usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- just a tad bit hyper so this morning i was dead to the world and in the midst of a very very very interesting dream that for once did not include my coworkers. it did include a dude who shall remain nameless and, yeah, it was a good dream. so, i was asleep and then the phone rang and *poof* i was not asleep anymore. i won't say that i was awake, but i was certainly not asleep. and the very very very interesting dream was interrupted. but that's beside the point because i have been blessed with a wonderful imagination and that damn dream got me through the rest of my day. but anyway, so i mumble what was probably hello but i can't be sure and the next thing i know i hear, "hi, this is marinda calling from target..." which caused my eyes to fly open so fast i think i might have sprained an eyelid. i think looked at the clock and literally yelled into the phone, "OH MY GOD!" i realize i am hearing chuckling coming through the phone and marinda laughs and says, "did i wake you up?" i was all like, i'm on my way bye. and slammed down the phone. it was 8:37. i was supposed to be at work at 7:30. i started my car at 8:45. how's that for getting a move on? but i had a really good day and accomplished an assload, yes brandon, an assload, of stuff so yay me. and i absolutely admore my new team member. she is so the most wonderful person ever. and she has common sense. woohoo. so, now i'm home and i have a zillion and one items that need to be packed up and prepared to ship this weekend which means going to grandma's house. plus i have to finish the newsletter for work which was supposed to be done by the first but obviously wasn't as today is the ninth and i just said i still needed to finish it. and i need to google some interesting trivia fact thingies about st. patrick's day and make about 50 green bullseyes to hide around the store tomorrow for our "find the green bullseye contest" and i have to pick a book of the month for april and make a flyer reminding everyone about the book of the month for march, plus i have about 75 more items i need to get listed on ebay, and i need to wash clothes. oh, another good thing happened today. i came home and was checking my email and in my gmail inbox was an email from cathy telling me that she had gotten a statement from anthem that says that i have NO copay so i have overpaid my account by 80 bucks! go me. but as i owed her $95, it evens out. but at least now i only owe her $15 so i'm still way happy. i only drank one mt dew today. i figured since i was already late for work then it wouldn't hurt if i stopped at the store and i was having a very hard time opening my eyes wide enough to see the road, so i felt the call of caffeine. yum. but i had water for the rest of the day. again, go me. yeah, so, i have an assload of stuff to get done this evening, and i forgot to buy a stupid phone card today when i got off of work because my dumbass used up almost all of my minutes talking to the psycho pyro this weekend, before i found out he was a psycho obviously, and i talked the last of my minutes last night to brandon whilst i stalked him and drove past his house. so, yeah, i'm out of minutes. so yeah, like i was saying, i have an assload of stuff to get done this evening so i should probably get started. toodles 6:00 pm - 09 Mar 2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
