usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- wednesday whatnot spent the evening at grandma's house going through old pictures. she took tons of pictures throughout her life and my dad and my aunt have given them all to me and my cousin. we have been working for a while on our family tree and they knew that the pictures interested us, whereas the rest of the grandchilren just liked to laugh at the stupid hairstyles and clothes our parents had. she kept most of the pictures in old show boxes in the closet though so some of them are damaged and most of them are curled up. i bought a new photo album and we found a bunch that she had never used as we went through some things in the house. i spent about four hours putting the worst of the curled and ben pictures into the albums and then weighting them down so that they will straighten out. exciting night. it was so busy at work today. i am so friggin glad i'm off tomorrow even if i do have to run in for a bit tomorrow to pick up a few last minute christmas items and my prescription. but at least i'm not working and i can get in and out quickly. friday morning i have to be in at six thirty, good times. it's christmas eve and payday, woohoo. i'm tired now and in the middle of a very good book so i'm off to curl up under the covers with my junebug and read. toodles 10:30 pm - 22 Dec 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
