usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i just ate an oatmeal bar so today i have pretty much vegged out all day. it's been nice considering that i worked my ass off yesterday. i'm going to start on the living room and dining room here in a minute, as soon as i finish this. i'm suddenly in the holiday spirit so i want the living room and dining room to be empty of all of my crap so that we can see the tree and start turning on the lights. mama and i were hinting to daddy earlier today that he could start decorating the yard whenever he felt like it. he feels like we should wait until after thanksgiving, but by then, mama and i will be all out of christmas cheer thanks to the tons of obnoxious and rude customers that we will deal with on a daily basis. but because the holiday crush hasn't started yet, the customers are still nice and polite (most of the time) so i'm feeling all christmasy. i'm thinking about watching a christmas story later tonight maybe. of course, once i start watching it, i don't quit. i watch it over and over and over. i have it playing while i'm online, i have it playing while i'm reading, i have it playing while i'm cleaning, i have it playing when i go to bed. i friggin love that movie. of course, it is sunday, which means that extreme makeover: home edition comes on. plus the they really hated it trading spaces comes on too. so maybe i'll hold off until tomorrow to watch ralphie. so i guess that's it for now. i'm off to wash some cookie jars and clean and move and such. oh, and sherlock, no biggie about the meds, at least i didn't cheat and have a dew. which by the way, my mom keeps offering to buy me one every time she goes to the store. i think she doesn't believe that i actually quit. but how cool is it that i have the willpower to actually say no when she offers to buy me one? i rock. toodles 4:14 pm - 07 Nov 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
