usmcsis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so i caved, but it's an investment so i went to the bookstore and browsed for a bit. i did give in and make a minor purchase. but it's not just any purchase, it's an investment in my future. yeah, right. so i needed a new dictionary and i wanted a thesaurus so i got a little mini combo for like five bucks. and it will fit in my purse so it's portable. :P and i also bought no plot? no problem by chris baty, the founder of NaNoWriMo. a low stress, high-velocity guide to writing a novel in 30 days. again, it's an investment. so, tomorrow is tuesday and i have to close. so i have to get up at the crack of friggin dawn and follow my dad to the mechanic's so that he can drop off his truck to have something worked on, i don't know what, i wasn't really listening to that part of our conversation, and then i get to bring him home. of course, by the time we get home it will be too late to go back to bed. blah. but, i guess that's a good thing in the end because i have absolutely no clean red and khaki to wear to work tomorrow. i'm not even sure i have a clean pair of socks at this point. i had planned to do my laundry sunday and i'll have you know that sheer laziness is not the only reason it didn't get done. my mother, who was off this weekend, waited until sunday to do her laundry. instead of doing it on saturday while i was at work which is what i asked her to do. oh, sorry, i forgot you needed to wash clothes too, she said. so i'll have to do them in the morning so that i have something to wear to work at one-thirty. so i saw judah today. the ex-husband. with his current girlfriend/baby's mama/whatever, and their three month old son. he smiled and waved and she hit him and they argued for the rest of the time they were in the store and continued to argue in the parking lot to the point that she was yelling at him. i was almost embarassed for him. if i hadn't been laughing my ass off i probably would have been. so, that's it. i'm off to bed with my book and my bug. toodles 12:25 am - 12 Oct 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
